Bust on a pedestal in resin. H = 32 cm

Shakespeare, actor and author, is also a partner in a theatrical production company presenting works at the Globe, the Blackfriars Theatre, The Court and even in the countryside.
We can distinguish three periods in his theatrical works. Dating from 1560-1600, his works feature a youthfulness reflecting a very British enthusiasm and style (Romeo and Juliet, A Midsummer Nights). Beginning in the 1600, perhaps due to the political deception prevalent at the time, both the public and the author ‘s tastes change.
Shakespeare orients his works toward a series of sombre tragedies as well as a few comedies (Hamlet, Mac Beth). As he approaches old age, he brings a bit more tolerance to his creations (The Tempest).
Shakespeare’s works, written for an audience comprised of the common man as well as the aristocracy, continues to attract divers audiences to the present day.
