"Les Archives Nationales", centers of Paris, incarnates a long tradition of collection and conservation of the inheritance: royal archives with its prints of seals of kings, queens or cities, files of the Revolution and the various Republics. The seal at the Middle Ages that it is of king or city authenticates an act; it represents
the instrument of a daily legal document, that which validated the documents and has for that value of signature. The seal of city has as a characteristic not to show the city such as it is but such as its notable  wanted
it symbolized.
